We were awarded a 2016 bull elk landowner preference tag by The Nature Conservancy, which we are raffling off. We are only selling 100 tickets. Tickets $100 each. The winner has a rare opportunity to hunt the big bulls on the 33,000 acre Zumwalt Prairie Preserve, in the Chesnimnus Unit.

We will draw the winning ticket on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Outlaw Restaurant in Joseph at 5:15pm. Hunt occurs on rough terrain and by foot only. Oregon hunting regulations apply.

All proceeds benefit us and help us create jobs, improve working lands, and educate the next generation. Discover more about the Zumwalt Praire.

Rules and additional information

Winner need not be present to win. Only one winner will be drawn. Winning ticket can be transferred to another. The Landowner Preference (LOP) tag holder will be one of only two hunters with access to 33,000 acres of the Zumwalt Prairie Preserve located in Wallowa County, Oregon. The LOP tag was donated by The Nature Conservancy to Wallowa Resources. This is a 3-day guided hunt. It is mandatory that the guide accompanies hunters. Hunters are responsible for the costs of their Oregon hunting license and tag fee and following Oregon hunting regulations. Total hunting party size is limited to 3 people, in addition to the guide. The property contains steep slopes, and can be physically challenging to hunt. There is no vehicle traffic off established roads. Staff, Board Members, and volunteers of Wallowa Resources are eligible to win. The drawing will be Friday, February 19, 2015 at the Outlaw Restaurant in Joseph at 5:15 pm.
