2008 Special Recognition Award, US Department of Agriculture, Oregon Interagency Noxious Weed. Mark Porter, our Watershed Stewardship Program Director, received this award due to his leadership in digital aerial sketch-mapping technology, in Meadow Hawkweed containment in northeast Oregon, and in cultivating relationships with private landowners to manage weeds across ownership boundaries.
2008 Oregon Renewable Energy Innovation Award. For leadership in resource stewardship and our commitment to Oregon's renewable energy future.
2007 US Forest Service Rise to the Future Award. These awards celebrate excellence in professional fisheries management. We received this award for our collaborative efforts in the implementation of the Upper Joseph Creek Watershed Action Plan and restoring over 35 miles of native steelhead habitat.
2007 Community Partner Conservation Award. From The Nature Conservancy for our leadership and investment in collaboration to maintain and enhance working lands and educate our youth.
2005 Stewardship Leadership Achievement Award. From the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest.
